Alfalfa Cubes are made by blending 1st and 2nd cut excellent quality Sun Cured alfalfa hay with trace amounts of Lime that acts as a binder, mold inhibitor and feed additive.

Feeding

Forage is the basis for feeding programs for all classes of horses. Forage contains many nutrients and fiber that is essential for the maintenance of the horse's gastrointestinal health. A general rule for daily feeding is 1lb-2lbs of feed for every 100lbs of body mass. Example: a 1000lb horse would require about 10lbs-20lbs/day (an ice cream pail full).
